Welcome to the travelblog!

This first post is basically a test post that I have put up to work out how this site works, but I'll indulge early visitors and also use it to let you know what to expect in the new year!

Selina and I are going on a somewhat belated honeymoon on 16th January, all the way to Australia and New Zealand, with stops in Singapore and Dubai thrown in for good measure.  This trip wouldn't have been possible without the kind and generous donations that our wedding guests made as our wedding gifts and to repay this generosity, I have created this blog to allow people to share in our journey.

My aim is to update this blog as regularly as I can throughout our trip with photos and any interesting stories/hijinx we get involved in along the way.  I have no idea how often I'll be able to update this, given that we will be spending time in some pretty rural areas, but I promise that whenever I get an opportunity, I'll post something.
